Hopefully whoever is reading this has at least seen the movie "Coraline". It's based on a story where the little girl "Coraline" has lousy parents & finds a secret door which leads to the same, but nicer, funner mom & dad. That's the gyst of it. So, I thought it looked like a cute movie, it was rated PG & for children, we watched it together.
Now, whenever my 4 year old does something she's not supposed to, I usually give her time out or take away some of her priveliges when she acts up. After watching that movie, she insists I'm not her Mommy & wants her other Mommy. She yells "You're not my Mommy, I want my other Mommy, NOW!" It's been at least 2 months since we've watched the movie & she continuously says it. I try to explain to her that she has no other mommy, just me! Which she doesn't, I gave birth to her you know, I'm not her step mom or anything. It's the same thing when my husband puts her in time out, or her Nana, she yells I want my other Nana, or Daddy! Especially when she does it in public, I have people staring at me like I kidnapped her!! It's so frustrating I don't know what to do, please help! I'm tired of people looking at me like I'm a criminal & I'm tired of my daughter saying I'm not her Mother. I've tried everything.
P.S. If you have toddlers, I highly suggest you do not let them watch Coraline, it looks like a cute children's movie but it's not.

a long time ago i saw it, i think its in england, this girl living with her mother who 'has spies all around to keep an eye on her daughter' and she has a boyfriend and they both write each other letters and promise to not open them up untill ?i guess they agree to? and he ends up killing himself and she reads his letter and then rips it up and throws it outside out the window (proly cz he said that he wanted to be free or something) but i didnt see the beginning or the ending.. soooo.... yea

Yesterday, I came home to find my blanket missing. I called my 16-year-old daughter, asking if she had it and she yelled back that she did. I told her to bring it to me right this instant and she said that she was watching a movie and that she'd bring it in a second. I yelled that she was supposed to do it RIGHT AWAY, to which she replied "HOLD ON." I said, "NO!" She yelled that she was bringing it right over and was extremely angry. She said she had been getting dressed. She walked over to me and practically threw it at me! "ARE YOU TRYING TO BREAK SOMETHING?!?!?!" I yelled at her. She'd thrown it at me like she was planning on killing me with it! She said that it was just a blanket and that there wasn't much harm you can do with one,. What sass.
She told me that she had hung my dark blue blanket over her window. Her excuse? The sunlight was waking her up in the morning and she couldn't sleep. I have told her multiple times that she is not allowed to take this blanket and put it over her window. It looks absolutely hideous, what must the neighbors think?! She responded that if her dad had set up the blinds, she wouldn't have had to take it but she wasn't supposed to be sleeping around that time anyway! The sun sets around 7AM, that's when I get up for work. She said that I get up at noon during my days off, but I am a working mother! Of course I need my sleep! I sleep during the night and am awake during the day.
I started yelling at her that she was not supposed to be sleeping at 7 and that that blanket belonged to me. She said that she hated m so I ran towards her. She looked scared and apologized, saying she didn't mean it. I told her that I was kicking her out and to leave the house right now. Immediately. To just go. She got up and walked out quickly in front of me yet I still managed to push her a bit on her way out. She didn't fall when I pushed her. She had no socks on, she was just in her pajamas and she was saying she was going to get some socks but I said that that wouldn't be necessary. I slammed the door on her feet and locked it.
About twenty minutes later, I opened the door. My daughter was sitting on the porch next to a bloodied dead bird. It was rather convenient that it was there right then for this lesson as the only place she could sit due to the rocks surrounding our house was the small mat, the same one the bird was on. I told her that she was not coming back into the house and to get into the car because she was going to live with her sister. She again began trying to bargain with me, trying to get some clothes to put on or shoes considering there is no pavement by our house, only rocks, some of which are rather sharp (a little blood never hurt anyone) but then she wouldn't have learned her lesson. I told her to get into the car right then. I told her that those clothes belonged to me, considering I bought them. She started going on about how she'd bought over half of her clothes, yet I seemed to recall having lent her around $40 for clothes in the summer so any piece of clothing, I could have claimed to own. She said that she'd told me to take it from her bank account but we hadn't yet so it still counted.
She told me to open the car so I just slammed the door in her face. I think she was getting quite humiliated considering all of the neighbors could see her there, she hadn't even showered that day and those pajamas were a bit worn out.
The phone rang and it was my sister so I decided I didn't feel like doing this anymore. My husband opened the door for my daughter and she just walked into her room, my husband cleaned up the dead bird and blood. She seemed a bit distant later in the day. Then today, she seemed distant still and said that even her sister thought that was "incredibly dumb" of me. She also complained of "incredibly itchy feet" yet every week she's complaining of some random physical pain. What would you have done? The nerve of her, calling me stupid and saying she hates me? What's wrong with this generation!

I remember seeing a movie several years ago. I think its from the 90's. I can't remember the exact plot but it involved a married woman who became pregnant and was stabbed in the stomach so her husband takes her to his mother's house. His mother in law is totally crazy and I think ends up being the one who stabbed the wife in the first place. The mother in law keeps her daughter in law restrained to a bed in her house and then delivers the woman's baby instead of taking her to the hospital. I think the woman eventually kills her mother in law.

If you're a father and your daughter was kidnapped like in that movie under all the same circumstances, if you were willing to go through all the hell and mayhem to get your daughter back as Bryan Mills did in that movie, would you be just as ready and willing without question or hesitation to go through all that exact same stuff to save your son?

If I was in Bryan Mills' position, the most I would do to that man tied to the chair would be conk him over the head with a bottle or something.

It talks about a teenage daughter who lives with her mother...This daughter met a man whom she really loved.She married him and took him to live with her at her mom's.Her mother hated him and was always so mean to him,at the end of the movie the husband kills his mother-in-law and the daughter ends up in the hospital.
I remember seeing this old movie back when I was like 7 or 8, about 12 years ago. This is what I can remember of the plot:
It's a old, 1920's maybe later setting. European country. There is a dysfunctional mother-daughter relationship (the mother slaps her at one point in the kitchen in front of the maid). The daughter has an ailment where she coughs up blood. The daughter has a friend and they want to run away to America to become porn stars? (At one point they were taking photographs of each other in the bath tub, to send these off to a man in America.) The girls somehow acquire tickets to a ship sailing to America. They trick the mother into thinking that they want to all 3 take a walk in the woods, when it turned out to be a plot to murder the mother using a brick to the head. The girls run off to the ship, but only the friend can make it aboard (I don't remember why).
I always think of this movie but I haven't the slightest clue of when it was made, who stars in it, or what it's called. If someone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated!!!

But though having a superstar, bona fide father is beyond the teen expectations, the aftermath of numerous red-carpet experiences can result in blood-shot eyes in the deepest shade of crimson you could imagine. Yet, I plastered on a faux grin and locked my arm through Dad’s, and looked like a was having the grandest time even though my Christian Louboutin pumps were digging into my pedicured-feet and my 2009 Versace tube dress was a quarter-inch too small around my barely-there stomach.

Refer to my earlier mails my friends life has become measurable now.1st his wife cheated on him sleeping with another man that to having two child's.he left his lucrative job and after couple of months somehow managed to digest the situation with an excuse to his wife.
But after three months he could know that his wife is trying to contact that man secretly and shocked when his 5 yrs daughter told her mother regarding the guilt relationship seeing a kissing scene in movie.
Now he has got a job staying away from family caz of placement and sons study but dying every moment ,gone almost mad with frustration and shame.

It's a girl! Oh I'm so excited I can't hardly breathe! I asked my husband what he would like to name her and he told me I'm the one bearing her for the long 9 months and I deserve to name our first child.

I saw this movie a LOOOONG time ago and it was really creepy/unnerving. It involves someone who drives a dirty old black car (and i mean REALLY dirty, the view from inside is almost non-existent) and whoever is inside abducts girls and later kills them and dumps their bodies. A mother who drives a school bus witnesses her daughter getting taken by the car and thus a chase ensues, she chases him into the dessert or something with her bus and i know at one point, the kids get off and hide somewhere, but get blown up. (i think). Anyways, a wooden nickel to anybody who can tell me the name of the movie! Thanks!

Teresa is a doctor. She's separated. She has a 15 year old daughter named Paula who writes a novel entitled "A Beautiful Life".
Edmundo is a hairdresser. He lives with his mother. He needs a lot of money to save his father's grave.
Mario plays clarinet. He wants a job with the national orchestra, but he can't get it. Therefore he plays for the army orchestra.
There's a prostitute and her baby. She has AIDS.
The prostitute goes to Teresa's hospital to get a medicine for her baby, but she has no money to pay for it. Mario and Edmundo are returning from work on a bus, when they see a thief steals a woman's purse. Mario unboard the bus to catch the thief but he can't get him, instead he find the prostitute's body. Mario leaves his clarinet on the bus. Edmundo takes it and returns it to the army.
The movie is quite boring. It has no clear ending.
Every few months we take the family up to see my husband's daughters, Savannah (15) and Madison (12). My husband is a pilot and he hardly ever sees his other two daughters plus they live a few states away with their mother and her fiance. Together, my husband and i have 2 kids and i have 3 older kids from a previous marriage but the oldest two are in college and out of the house. So i have a 16 yr old son(Brooks), 13 yr old daughter(Anna) and a 6 yr old daughter(Kylie). This week we took the kids out of school and flew down to see my stepdaughter's because they are on fall break and so are my kids and it all seemed to fall into place. We stayed in a hotel and we let our step-daughters each bring a friend to stay at the hotel too. My husband feels like he never gets to see his daughter's so he always tries to make his visits fun and he spoils them a little bit because he feels so bad about never seeing them.
The 2nd day we were there we picked Savannah up from school when she got out, and i took Kylie, Anna, Savannah's friend and her to a movie while my husband stayed with Brooks and Madison and her little friend at a go-carting place. When we got out we decided to go shopping just us girls and we met up with the boys and the younger girls about 6:30. Well, Madison was in hysterics going off on her dad about how she didn't want to go shopping or go out to eat she just wanted to go back to the hotel and sleep because she had a headache and felt sick. My husband told me between all that her friend has gotten carsick and threw up in the parking lot and Maddy got out and walked off because she felt sick too leaving him to help her sick friend. So we figured that she was just feeling bad after seeing her friend get sick(but her friend felt fine now and decided to stay) and went back and ordered pizza and watched a movie in the room. She then starts screaming that she doesn't want pizza and she just wants to go back home. She wouldn't talk to her friend or anyone else and she was treating my husband like crap and he just let her walk all over him. She yelled at me, and she is rude to her littler step-sisters and even her own sister. She told her friend (to her face) to GO HOME because she was annoying and she didn't like her anymore which made the poor little girl cry and actually want to go home.
Bottom line: She's out of control.
She won't do anything the group wants to do but she has nothing better to offer. We took her friend home because she wanted too and we felt so terrible about how Madison was treating her. We then ate lunch and i decided to let Savannah and Brooks choose what they wanted to do next because i, 1. didn't like how Madison was treating everyone and i didn't think she deserved to get her way and 2. Brooks and Savannah are very close but never see eachother and they wanted to do something fun but Savannah has to work tomorrow and we are flying back Monday night. So the two chose to see The Stepfather and at first Madison was okay with it but then she threw a fit that she didn't like movies and didn't want to see one and but she has nothing else to offer. My husband decided to take her back to the hotel with the younger girls and i went to a movie with the older two. I called later to see how Madison was and she had locked herself in a room that she shares with all her sisters and won't let anyone in despite the threats her father made(no more tv, cut off cellphone bill, he will call her mom, etc) I think we are all owed an apology by her but she's not going to listen and my husband doesn't know how to handle this because he never gets to see her and he doesn't know how to be an authority to her.
What can i do? Any advice?
We have also talked to Savannah and she says that she never acts like this to her mom.

Ok in the movie in the beginning a women walks into her car and it explodes i think from a motel room then her daughter start seeing her ghost and in the end it turns out it was 2 guys dressing up as the girls dead mom 2 try 2 get money she left i remember that the mother has on a blue dress and at 1 point in the movie she really does come out and tells her daughter to burn the money and she is floting over daughter's bed
the movie i watched a few years ago was about this girl who goes to party, she is kidnapped, and her mother can sense the places she is and if she touches something she wore or anything the night she was abducted, she can see what happened clearer.

Wow, I don't know where to begin. My mom was telling me about this old film she saw when she was a young girl living in Romania. Directly translated, the title in English means "White Roses for my Black Daughter/Sister" [don't know which one]. It was all about a rich, white family who had two beautiful children, a white son and a white daughter. The family also had a beautiful servant girl, and although she was African-American, she fell in love with the family's son and became pregnant. Hiding her pregnancy for as long as she could, she fled to another city and had her child there. The child turned out to be a perfectly white, beautiful daughter. The servant girl gave the baby up to adoption, and made sure she was adopted by the rich family she used to worked for. The family does adopt her, and raises her as her own. When the daughter grows up, however, she marries and has a black son, much to the devastation of the rich family. The servant girl sees this in the newspaper, and finally decides to go the family and tell them. She sees her daughter and tells her that she is her mother. The servant girl has a heart attack due to this, and is in the hospital. Before she dies, the family brings her white roses by her bedside, hence the title.

Is okay for a divorced man to take his 15 yr old daughter to an expensive steak dinner every weekend especially when he is always complaining about his finances? My boyfriend has a daughter from his previous marriage and he says her mother doesn't treat her well. Basically the maternal mother is jealous of the daugther so he compensates for it. It seems to be a bit out of control to me though and I need help with this. He is constantly complaining about spending money but he will buy the most expensive razors, shampoo, skin care products for her and the most expensive clothes, and then say he has no money to go to the movies or away with me on a weekend he doesn't have the kids.This started as soon as she got her priod. Honestly people, what 12 year old girl needs $20 razor blades or $30 shampoo? What 13 year old needs Juicy Couture glasses and coach bags? Does she have a job? He won't buy a video game for his son, but he takes the daughter out for a steak dinner every weekend he has her because otherwise she will pout and throw a tantrum. Anytime she throws a tantrum he lets her without any kind of punishment and anyone who points out the bad message this send out ends up getting punished instead. What little girl where thongs and gets their dad to buy them $50 push up bras? Have I lost my mind, or am I completely out of touch? I grew up with a mom and dad in the same home and a brother and none of this crap ever happened in my house! He acts as if his daugther is his partner and we all have to abide by her rules or pay the consequences. He boasts about her beauty, and popularity and how great she is, how she is happy all of the time - but he refuses to see she is happy because she manipulates him to get whatever she wants, and he follows, and then he ignores or blocks her mean acts towards others and her tantrums with him. How do I get him to understand how this is desrtuctive not only to our relationship but also to the reltionships both his son and daugther will end up in as they grow older. He is basically teaching his daugther how to use men, and his son is conflicted as he sees his sister get everything while his father acts as if I am a rug.
I don't want to argue with him, but I guess I want to know if I have lost my mind. Should I jump ship and run for a life boat or what I can do to help him understand that this behavior is affecting our relationship and pushing me away. I am uncomfortable whenever she is sitting on him and sprawling on him, as well as when he yells at everyone else (his son, and myself) for trouble she causes. I mean honestly, I am beginning to think that this stuff about her mother is completely made up and the maternal mother is not really even jeaalous at all, but just disciplined and fed out with her daugther's manipulation!

So I watched this on tv a couple of years ago and it's about this Guy who goes to work at a lodge somewhere snowy as a bell boy/concierge? person and ends up falling in love with the owners daughter, her mother had died when she was younger in the snow and so she doesn't like winter or something :S. They go ice skating at one point. There's also some kind of evil ice queen who i think killed her mother maybe? Evil ice queen lady puts some kind of spell on the boy and makes him go with her to her castle (Narnia-esque lol) making him miss the girls birthday but before he goes he buys her these boots that she wanted and leaves them for her. She finds the boots after the party and thinks he's left her and so she takes the boots and goes to this bridge throws the shoes in the river and then jumps in herself. She then wakes up in some kind of forest where it's spring and this weird lady finds her and gives her her boots back and takes her inside her cottage. The lady looks after her and treats her like a child and doesn't want her to leave but eventually she does and that's as far as I've watched. When it was on tv it was split into two parts? There's also a bit where the boy is in the evil queens ice castle and she wants him to put this shattered mirror back together? and he can't leave until he does?
Its a movie based on a true story about a woman who is told her little girl is dead, years pass and she goes to a party. The woman sees a little girl and has the mother instincts. So she plugs out a piece of her hair, goes and gets help to get an DNA test, the DNA test comes out positive. She then goes through all the paper work, and fights for her daughters custody. This happen in 2003 it was all over the news and papers. Then, last 2008 this story was made into a movie. I have no idea what is the name of the movie, or any of the names on the case. Hi a couple of weeks ago i watched this movie on digital (knology) and it was a great movie...but anyways its about a lady who stays with her mother and the lady has 4 kids. the kids stay in a basement and are living there until the mother comes back with the promise she made to them and that is to get the money from her father when he dies. We usually see the following stereotypes:
1) Bride and groom's mother
The two women cannot stand each other. The mother believes that the bride is not good enough for her son. It's a constant bickering which always ends up involving the groom and his father as well.
2) Groom and bride's mother
Whenever the groom learns that they will spending time with the bride's mother or the mother is visiting, the groom makes a face. And if the couple separates for a bit, the mother always tells the bride "I told you. He was no good for you!"
3) Groom and bride's father
The two usually have a good relationship. However, the father is very quick to remind the groom that if anything happens to his daughter and he is the reason why, the father will basically destroy him. And he means it in the most pleasant way.
However, I've never seen any relationship stereotype with the bride and the groom's father as they always seem to talk to their significant others, but not each other.
Is there any type of relationship stereotype that happens in those types of movies?

October 16th 10:00pm- 12:00am. It's on now. (My guide isn't showing me the title). It's about a woman, who on her death bed, tells her daughter how to live her life. It turns out that the mother is right about everything. She tells her daughter that she will marry the 7th guy that she has a relationship with.
It's a movie I watched on TV in the 70's when I was a kid... Some woman is on a satanist cult, and she promises to give her daughter to the devil. She gets pregnant and tries to escape. Her daughter is born, and the mother dies (killed somehow by the cult). The girl grows up normal, someone (a friend of her mother's) tells her the truth. The people protecting her start to die, one by one. I remember one scene where someone takes a figurine (I think of a horse) from someone's house and that person dies in a horse riding accident. Anyway the girl freaks out, and she meets this guy, who is great, and they get married. Last scene, after the wedding, his eyes start to glow, and she realizes she couldn't escape her destiny and she married the devil.

I'm 24 single male and live in an apartment building that has 20 units on my side of the building. 3 weeks ago a women and her 17 year old daughter. 2 days after they moved in I met the mother and she asked if i had that Starlite dish on my porch and i told her yes she asked if I could record some movie her daughter saw was going to be on HBO on the internet. I told her that wouldn't be a problem and when she could come and watch it when i was home and it would be fine. I had her have her daughter stop buy with a list of anything she wanted to see, Her mom said she don't watch much t.v. She's probably come over 5 times in the two weeks and only to watch a few intro circus episodes and a movie. She's just.... um I'm not a tall guy and im fairly skinny. She is taller than I am and um muscular, I'm sorta intimidated.... she flirts with me all the time and smiles at me, well last night before she left she forced me into the wall and kissed me, I tried to stop her but.... well I couldn't. I'm not saying I didn't like it but I just, I'm not sure what to do and I'm a little embarrassed to tell her mother. Does anyone have any advice?
Movie is a few years old and it's about a girl that has evil powers to make baaad things happen. I don't remember any details except I think they live in the woods, and the mother tries to kill the daughter so as to prevent evil from occurring. In the preview there was a quote along the lines "you don't want to hurt your own daughter!" and the mother replies "why not?" Please help. its about these two girls one of them uses black magic the other one is just starting to lern how to use her powers.the bad witch starts to torture the othe one in different ways on one part the good one is in her house sitting down and a clock flys off of the fireplace and almost hits her in the back of the head but she turned around just in time to stop it in mid flight with her powers. on another part her boyfriend is parked out in front of her house guarding it hes in the back of his van when he gets attacked by a black cat sent by the bad witch.in the final seen the good witch is running around their school shes being chased by a goat or something and something happens where she passes out and wakes up tied to a stake like they used to use to burn witches. the bad witch lites the fire and says burn witch burn some how the bad witches mother shows up to help the good witch and gets her off of the stake and says to her daughter (the bad witch) taht shes going to take her out of this world and rushes her grabs her and drags her into the fire burning them both up . thats about all i remember about this movie i just cant remember the title. it killing me cause i want to buy it . if anybody can help that would be great. its from some where bettween the early 80's to early 90s i think
I was inviting my friend to the mall with me to watch a movie with me but her mom doesn't let her child go to that mall because of what my friend did at that mall in the past. So, my mom was going to tell her mom that we were going to a different place to see the movie even though we weren't. (Yeah i know, not anything a mother should do but that's not the point here so no one needs to comment about that). Well, i was asking my friend what my mom should tell her mom and i was asking her over text messaging. her mom grabbed her cell phone and read her text messages and found out what was happening so her mom flipped out on me over text. my dad has always been very strict for as long as i can remember..when i was younger he wouldn't even let me go in my neighbors pool or go in their house(and they were good people).....now im 19 and he is still very very very strict in ways that i cant party,i cant be out late (even with my sister) im not allowed to have a boyfriend(even though i do),cant talk on the phone late, i cant do anything and he constantly locks the fence so i cant Escape and hang out with my cousin and its kinda weird because i feel like im constantly being watched by him,( i dint have a room door) i cant even be home alone!(he won't allow it) and he always has to know my schedule. i have no privacy because i share rooms with my little brother. the only way i get away from him is when i go to work and school. i have already tried talking to him and letting him know that i am old enough to know what i am doing and that i have never let him down but, its the same.no freedom!.. its gotten to the point where i just try to leave to go on a date with my boyfriend to the movies but he ended-up throwing water all over me messing my hair up before i can leave the fence.i know some of you would say to just MOVE OUT..but, trust me i would have left a looooong time ago if i could only afford it(looked into it already) im tired of lying to him to be able to hang out with friends and the b.f. by ditching class and work.it just does not feel comfortable to be out when you are not supposed to.As for my mother she works full time and she never really "backs me up" i already tried to talk to her and it just sums up to her saying.."you know your dad, that's just how he is" she thinks you can solve everything by just ignoring but i know that's NOT true.i hate the way they are and nothing goes in their head!

Susan is my mothers middle name, and i like that the meaning is lily as they are one of my favourite flowers. Tenielle is my middle name.
Rosalie Matilda Jayne 'Rosie'
My Paternal great grandmothers second middle name is Rose which has already been used in the family so i thought Rosalie was a nice way to remember her, i am also a big fan of the twilight series, but i loved this name long before i ever read the books. Matilda is because i am Australian and i think it has a very Australian feel to it due to the Waltzing Matilda song. Jayne is my sisters middle name and i also love that it means gift from god in hebrew.
Isabella Audrey Joyce 'Bella'
Once again my Paternal great grandmothers middle name was Isabel, but i prefer Isabella. Audrey is my paternal grandmothers name. Joyce is my maternal grandmothers middle name and i like the english meaning of Cheerful.
Evangeline Mattea Ames 'Evie'
Evangeline in greek means good news and i think that's kind of sweet. Mattea is for no particular reason, i just really love the name and the way it sounds. Ames is my other best friends last name, i chose her last name because her first name is to creative and common for my taste and her middle name although beautiful doesn't really flow well with my other favourite names, i also adore that in french it means friends and in latin it means loves.
Emmeline Luna Joy 'Emme'
Emmeline and Luna are just names i fell in love with and Joy is my paternal grandmothers nickname, she's been called that since she was a child even though her name is Audrey, it's already been used three times in my family as middle names, once by my late aunty who passed away from breast cancer when i was quite young, and two of her children have given their daughters Joy as middle names, i think it's a nice way to remember both my aunty and my grandmother.

Joshua is just a name i have always loved. I love the movie I Am Sam, everytime i watch it i think what an amazing father and man, so that's where Samuel came from. Theodore is greek for divine gift and Ross is my fathers second middle name.

William in french means determined protector which i think is a really strong nice meaning for a male name. Daniel was a dear friend of mine who passed away at 16 and i just like Matteo.

Alfred is my maternal grandfathers middle name and i love the nickname Alfie, Alfred Hitchcock is also one of my favourite directors. Hemingway is after Ernest Hemingway and Jude is because i am a very very big beatles fan and is an omage to the song Hey Jude.
Lennon Huntly James 'Len/LJ'
Lennon is one again because of my beatles obsession for John Lennon. Huntly is my maiden name and James is for James dean.

My 10 year old Granddaughter lived in a different state than me. When i was there for a visit last year her mom ask me if i would take her home with me because her husband had been sexually abusing her. This is my son's daughter who was killed in a car accident before she was born. So of course i said yes. I could not get her in school because her mom would not give me a guardianship paper. Finally 2 month's later, on her birthday her mom decides to come for a visit. She gave me power of attorney for 6 month's it expired in oct 08 i can not get her to update it or give me permanent guardianship papers she keeps saying she will, or she mailed them, but i have yet to receive them. I am taking care of this child who i hardly knew a year ago. She has a lot of mental issues because of the abuse. I have science found out that her mom was involved in the abuse. This has caused problems in my marriage and with my other granddaughter who is 4 years old and with my 2 older daughters, but because of my son who is deceased i stand by her, take up for her, do all i can for her. No one wants to help me. I struggle every month financially Just feeding her. I have got to know her a lot better. I love her and will do what ever it takes to keep her. I can not afford a lawyer, what can i do?
So me and my babys mom have been together for about 3 years. and its been great she says she loves me i say i love her. but recently i lied to her and got caught smoking pot and she drug tested me. even when i admitted to her i did afterwards she still refuses to talk to me its been two weeks. then like 3 days ago i get a letter in the mail shes taking me for child support and custody and she still wont talk to me or answer a single text. i just dont exactly know what to do because idk how someone can go from saying they love me and wanna marry me to completely ignoring me not answering me back about seeing my daughter. i tell her everyday im soo sorry and how much they mean to me but i just get no answer back and its so upsetting i just wish i knew what to do about the situation to get her to talk to me because nothings working.

15 years back and they have two girls with them, he got married again and have another girl with them. Overall the family members left are second wife, 3

I was in Thailand last year and I visited a shelter where they help women who are caught in the sex trade. I was so touched by their horror stories that I decided to adopted a child that was born as a result of one of the prostitutes being raped. Last month I was finally able to pick up my daughter, I had to go through 1 year of hell and grief just to be able to adopt. The sad part is most of the hoops I had to jump through were in the USA (my home country) and they were because I am a man. For some reason people seem to think that I am less qualified to be a single parent because I am male. Today I got a phone call from the Adoption Agency worker and she had nerve enough to say "I hope you are changing her diapers properly" she even had nerve to ask me how much my mom helps me out.
I joined up with a group of other single adoptive parents and I noticed I get all kids of weird looks like i'm some kind of pedophile adopting a child just because i'm not a women or gay.
I don't understand it, I love my child, i'm a good parent,. I have a great job that I have taken a whole 4 months off of to be at home with her, why are people like this?
Okay!.....here it goes.....we both male are have been the best of friends for nearly 19 years. how ever I think hes gay or at least in the closet.....I am gay and out. From what I can tell his relationship with his wife is ......odd......they seem like they are married out of a convenience.....yet when i went down to visit him his home ( he was on vacation that week)....his wife was a work and he was at home with their 22 month old daughter......for 6 hours we talked and goofed off.....and then I noticed he caught a look at my crotch while i was standing in the doorway at one point, also for spending the day at home.....he was dressed nicely. Oh yeah, i talked to him about gay sex...for 3 hours....and he never once seemed to have a problem......its like he wanted to hear about it. He told me that his wife told him before she went to work that she didn't want us upstairs getting into the top dresser drawer....and he asked her why....she said she didin't want to come home to find that I got him to stick a dildo up his a**...he told me he called her a dam hog.......then when she came home.....he said something to her..(i dont remember what he said to her)....but she looked right at him and called him a f*g......and he got real defensive......and all he did was......got in her face....and pointed at me and said......call hi
Me and this girl have had problems because im friends with someone she hates. This girl is in 8th grade and im in 10th grade. I was talking to her on facebook and she started swearing and being a b**** so I swore back at her. Well her mom is crazy and hacked into her daughters facebook. Printed of the convo and gave it to our principal. Me andmy friend got suspended and nothing happened to the 8th grader. I understand that I swore alot but it was outside of school. It was on my personal facebook page. And I did NOT impose ANY threats. I feel I got punished unfairly and that she should at least get some sort of punish for everything she did. I was in a store and this mom had a padded bra and i ask her what was the bra for and she said it for her 5 year old daughter and when her daughter came to her she was so flat.You can't even see the "showing" come out.
I have worn glasses for a few years now. I wore contacts when I was in high school, but now being a mom of 2, glasses just seem easier. The pair of glasses I wear now I've had for about 2 years, they are plastic frames. The other day, the plastic just snapped around one of my lenses. I called the place I got them from (Eyemasters) and they told me that I could come in and they could replace the frames, but my warranty had expired and they were $59.99. Well, I went in today and the girl already had the frames set aside since I called and she said give me about 5 minutes and I'll have them done. Sure enough, 5 minutes later she said your all done...well, I was standing there with my wallet and I said, "wait, I'm done, that's it?" And she said "yes, you are good to go." I had my daughter with me and a friend with her daughter and we left. I stood there outside for a minute thinking maybe she was going to say oh wait, you need to pay for those, but she didn't. Was I wrong?? Should I call them and make sure I wasn't supposed to pay? I feel like I stole these glasses, although my friend said maybe they misread that my warranty had expired, she said a lot of frames have a lifetime warranty...what would you do??

so last night i had a dream where i was at a family members house, and this family member has 3 young kids. a lot happened in my dream, but there was one part where the middle child came up to me (oh, and in my dream i knew that it was them but it looked like completely different children) but she came up to me and whispered, "can I show you something?? please can i show you! but you have to promise me that you won't tell mom! you have to promise" so I said, "okay show me." she then lifted up her shirt and showed me her back and said "look what i did!!! i fell" and down her back were these three INSANELY deep scratches. they weren't bleeding but they were vast and open and when i got closer i could see inside of her but there was some blood, some little chunks of muscle, and then the rest was completely hollow, like i was looking into an empty jar. so i gasped and starting crying and asked her if it hurt at all. and she said no. and then I told her that she absolutely had to tell her mom, and she asked why. i told her she had to tell her so she could get help and close the wounds bc otherwise they would get infected. she looked very happy and said "okay!! i'll tell mommy." she ran off and then some time passed and eventually i saw her mom. i asked her if she talked to her daughter and she said no. i told her "you have to talk to her!!!! you have to talk. hold on let me go get her." i tried telling her what was wrong but i couldnt get it out. so i spent the rest of the dream looking for the girl but couldn't find her anywhere!!!!
could you help me interpret this dream?? writing it now, i thought about how my mom told me that i had to quit smoking and i promised her i would, but i've still been smoking. could it be about my guilt for hiding it from her??

He called on Monday & spilled everything to me; people were talking badly about him on a local website, he found out last Friday that he apparently had a heart attack or a stroke last month (he is only 31), he began seeing a therapist & was placed on meds for schizophrenia earlier this year, he's going crazy not being able to see his ex's daughter whom he thinks of as his own, just to spite him the b**** mom hasnt let him spend time with or even talk to the little girl for 2 months, so he is extremely upset about that..there is even more but I'm not going to go further. I could barely understand a word he said since he was crying so hard! I have known him over 12 years and have never seen him like this. He has always been the type that holds everything in, so instead of interrupting him to put in my 2 cents, I let him talk & get it all out. I now wish I had offered some encouraging words, I emailed to say he can call me anytime & to keep his head up but he didnt respond, I became worried & sent another with a notification & seen that he didnt bother opening it, I'm thinking hes probably embarassed that he let me hear him cry.Or did I let him down?? Should I call him or leave him alone, I'm very scared at the thought of him being alone though, I feel a need to reach out to him but I dont want to bother him... I've thought of driving up to surprise him with a visit but then I think heck he ignored your email do you think he wants to see you in person. Then I keep thinking of this quote that says "Some people put up walls not to keep others out but to see who cares enough to tears them down". I feel so helpless, what do I do???

Okay so since i was little me and my mom have always been best friends. i mean we have done everything together. Most the time i hangout with her and ditch my friendds! Im 15 now. I have so much fun and love to be around my mom, it makes me happier than anything. We are more like sisters than mother and daughter. But lately, every time we seem to be together we argue and no matter how hard we both try to stop, it just turns into another fight. I've sat down and had a heart to heart about it, and we both agreed to change are ways , but so far it hasn't worked. For example, last night we got in a fight because we were watching a video on yuotube and she was like oh well this girl thinks shes good, and i was like mom chill its a video. Somehow those two sentences started a whole fight and it blew up into not talking for the rest of the night. Then i woke up today and we were fine. aFTER SCHOOL, FINE. Tonight we were fine until i was doing my hair and she was like don't put hair spray in it, it will make it dry. Then i was like ugghh. Cause somehow she persuades me into not doing this every time i do my hair, and i want to! It just gets frustrating but i know shes just trying to help. Now were not talking and i hate it. And i wwouldnt be upset if they were just normal fights that every teenage daughter has with their mom, but their not! They blow up and get way out of hand. And i hate it, because i feel like for the last 5 months, i've been losing her. And she just keeps telling me that she wants her nice sweet daughter back. How can we get back to normal, like the way things used to be? Anyone please answer, im desperate. I just dont want to lose her anymore thani already have.

My boyfriend and I have been together for five years April 2010. We have a good relationship and both of us get along well and are liked by the other's family. His family seems to have a lot of issues, and yes, which family doesn't?
Anyway, his little sister, we'll call her Christy, and I have always gotten along well - she's almost like my little sister, and I like her a lot and look out for her. However, she recently got pregnant - at the age of 16. I'm open-minded and realize this isn't the end of the world, but it is certainly a distressing situation for anyone to go through. Granted, it's not my life and not my family, but being as close as I am to his family I feel effected by the situation. The main issues for me is that my boyfriend's mom is handling the whole thing terribly in my opinion. Not only did his sister get pregnant by a 24 year-old drifter (hey - he can do what he wants as well) but their mom is letting her move in with the guy, and wasn't the least bit upset when Christy told her the news. Also of note is the fact that his mom is an alcoholic and will date men long enough solely to be able to move her (and Christy) into their homes and have them pay for everything, continually drinking the entire time. She is not a good role model at all, and while I am all for her supporting her daughter in this trying time, I refuse to be supportive of how this situation is being handled.
Basically I'm torn - I love his mother and sister, but this situation is very bothersome to me and I'd rather not see either of them. I don't want to upset or anger anyone, or make them feel judged. I've been keeping my mouth shut, but their mom keeps asking why I don't come over to visit when my boyfriend does, and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by saying how I feel. Should I just continue to keep mum and avoid the situation?

day before yesterday they sent me out with my luggage and said dont come back this is the third time they did so.
i met babuji who is a good person met us at mamus house. my sisters and mother never hasitate to tell other people about me that im bad.
when i heard my sister talking about me to her friend (umesh) i was shocked. and couldnt believe my ears that a family mamber can do this to other one.
i cry when i think about this.
but now they are thirsty of my blood.
and want me badly to leave the house, so i m looking for a room for me.

when the first time called a person to beat me it was worst day of my life and i cant forget it.
here's the story:-
I was sleeping on my bed, i have problem of urine frequency because of my family and a little dibetic too and i am over weight because im not allowd to workout so i spend all my time on my computer.
i went to pee 4-5 times that morning, my elder sister suraiya was sleeping below near my bed.
so when i got up my feet touched her slightly everytime, and my family hates wen someones feet touch them because they are cleanest in the whole world.
she started shouting and called mother all people started shouting and cursing me.
i got hyper and shoued back, now mom came to hit me i hit back( i feel regrate about it ), my always bad sister suraiya called someone on the phone and started crying. i snached her cell and trew it very hard and broke it. she made excuse that she is leaving house right now. she went out and came back with a fat man whos name was salman and was her friend, he looked at me with anger in his eyes and came to me held my hand twisted it and put my head on the bed and just twisted my hand.
now famyli is meant to be support, help, and love.
i was seeing enemies at that time i was helpless and crying that its impossible to make someone beat your own son and brother.
i was shocked i can never forget that morning. the memories are still fresh in my mind.
and my family is getting cruel day by day.
they just hate me now and love others like daughters and their husbands.

My sister has been using my phone..and she texted a friend of hers and was telling her that she had texted her saying how school was getting bad and that she feels like she wants to die because everything is supposably being taken away from her. shes been going to alternative school (punishment for not paying attention in classs or being disrespectful) shes 15 years old..idk what to do. idk if i should show my mother the text or not. my mom is already going through a lot so i dont want to tell her that her own daughter is having suicidal thoughts.. any advice? please? :(

My neighbor is a boy and 8 which is the same age as my daughter. He calls her fat, and punched her on the bus. i have caught him throwing things at my daughter and i told her she needs to defend herself, but my daughter is a lover not a fighter, and just cries when he does this. i have talked to the parents numerous times and got kinda rude a couple of times, but they make excuses for their child and most of the time find a reason to blame mine. the principal suspended my son off the bus for getting up and walking around and they did nothing to this boy for punching my daughter. my son was going to cubscouts and because of this same boy (his mom is the leader) he quit. he said the boy wouldnt physically leave him alone and when he told the boys mom, she did nothing. what should i do? i have went to the transportation dept, the principal, the parents numerous times but it doesnt do any good because noone does nothing about this child. i am fed up with my children feeling unsafe and harassed. i have taken my children off the pass and started taking them, but 2 days out of the week they have to ride the bus because i am in class late. the boys parents are good friends with the police so i dont think calling them would help- as we are new to the area. any advice would be great.

My friends mom said she doesn't trust anyone around here,But heres the deal i always do that!! i am quite frank with the 15 yr old and he told me and my brother that she really enjoyed it, that she bragged about it to her friends, that he was really hot and he took an active part and there was no way he manipulated or took advantage of her.

I am on my second pediatrician for my daughter in 16 months - we left the first because every time we went she was sure my daughter had some new rare disease, but also because she seemed very against breastfeeding when my daughter was an infant and I figured it would only get worse from there.
Now, My daughter is still nursing at 16 months. She was born at 9lbs 4 oz, and lost 1 lb before leaving the hospital. She still nurses about 8 times a day now, and has only gotten up to 20.5 lbs. Her father is very tall and super skinny so the doctor thinks it's genetics but has still recommended that I cut down to no more than 3 nursings a day because she says my milk is "low fat" and not as calorie dense as solid foods at 16 months. I know there are a lot of moms who know a lot more about breastfeeding than I do on here so I was curious to see your thoughts on this. Should I cut down the nursings? I have tried but it has made my daughter very very irritable and she's just drinking more whole cow's milk, not eating more food. Any thoughts?
Just to clarify, my daughter does eat solid foods - she eats 3 meals and 2 snacks a day, plus 10 oz of whole milk which is far more than any other toddler I have seen. She started in the 95th percentile for weight and height and now she is 87th percentile for height and 13th percentile for weight. Her father is 6'4" and when he graduated high school weighed 120lbs. Now, at 42, he is barely 150.
I am confused. Since it feels like I am in the twilight zone, so here are the facts:

Ok here's the deal. I'm 19, turning 20 in May, a senior in college expecting to graduate in Spring of 2011 (5 years in college total). I work as a math tutor at a community college and I still live with my parents. And I'm an only child.
My parents pay for my $250 car payments, $100 car insurance, phone bill, and I don't pay any rent. I pay is for prescriptions, doctor's appts, internet for my phone, hair appts, and anything else that I need or want besides the household groceries. And I love my parents, we get along great.
But here's the thing, my older cousin laid up and had 2 children, 2 and 4 years old, that she won't take care of. So my mom took custody of the 2 year old girl and her mom took the boy. My mom has basically been taking care of the girl since she was about a month old. It was fine when we were living with relatives in a four bedroom and there were plenty of people to help. But now my dad is retired from the Navy and it's just the three of us taking care of a bratty, attention-lavished 2 year old. Sometimes we have to take care of the mentally delayed 4 year old as well.
She has to sleep in my room, even though we have an extra bedroom, and every day after going to school or working until 7pm I have to come home and help with her somehow, or else I'm not doing my share to live in the house. I don't get any sleep because she wakes up crying almost every night. Every weekend, I have a hard time getting my homework done, and I have basically NO time to do anything fun that I want to do unless the girls mom isn't at work or the club and is will to babysit her daughter, and it's starting to cause a big strain in my boyfriend's and my relationship (who I'm planning on marrying) because we have no time together unless he goes to school with me. And my grades are suffering because I have no time to study and I'm always so tired from lack of sleep and stress.
Am I being ungrateful to want to move asap? Should I just suck it up for the next year and a half so they can pay for everything until I graduate? Don't get me wrong I love my little 2 year old cousin but it's becoming too much for me to deal with. Sorry for the long post btw...
I've already been looking for people that need roommates by the campus just in case they take my car, and have found a room in a townhouse for $335 a month.
For those who said I don't help, I do help with her A LOT and voluntarily also. But it bothers me that her mother can go to movies and go on dates and do really whatever she wants. But me, who did not choose to have children yet, cannot.

Lately the same neighbor has been calling and asking for various favors.....
i was at college all day, and i had went to wal mart and picked up my daughter from school, just got home to unwind and make dinner, do some dishes and laundry and get ready for homework (im a single mom) so my life is pretty busy.
She calls and asks for a favor...I told her sure, what is it?......but after she said she needed her item from rite aid which was on the other side of town i asked her if there was any place closer bc at the time i dont have much gas. and she said no thats ok ill call someone esle...but she says it in a tone like im supossed to feel guilty for not saying yes to everything she needs.
Now i do feel guilty for not helping someone. I feel like God is dissapointed too.... as silly as that sounds its true.
So what I am asking is this:
should a christian sacrifice "anything" to help someone esle....."no matter what they need?" even if its interfering with my life as a single mom...?im busy too
not only that but i realized that when i start helping ppl they keep asking for more and more...i know that sounds bad on my part but lol where do u draw the line
My daughter is almost 5 months old and did everything very early from rolling over(1.5 months front to back and back to front on a hard surface) to sitting up (4 months!) and so on. She is a tummy sleeper but will not play on her tummy. She loves to 'army crawl' short distances but wont stay on her tummy for more than a minute. My doctor said not to worry but didn't explain much. Id like to know what other moms have experienced, especially if your baby was a tummy sleeper too.
me and my boyfriend have been together over a year and we live togther with his two kids. his daughter is 9 years old and his son is 5. his son and i have grown VERY close. at first his daughter loved me and i began to do morethings with her that her own mother never really does, everything was great(we neve say ANYTHING bad about her mother because we dont want them to hate her) out of know where she started to tell me that she hates me and that i'm not her mom! i never tried to be her mom and i have told her that. that i am only here for when she needs me. also i am the first girl that she has ever seen with her father but her mother is one of those ladies that cant keep their legs shut and introduces every guy to them :-( but we pretend everything is okay. i do what i can for these kids. why the hostility towards me??
Okay, I just think its messed up but maybe im wrong. So heres the deal. When my baby was born i got a job within 2 weeks. My gf was of course unemployed. Well for the whole year before she gave birth she was unemployed, but emplyed before that. Now its been 5 months since we had our lovely daughter. She still doesnt have a job so anything her benefits (WIC) dont cover i buy like diapers, gerber baby food, wipes, and basically anything. well the deal has been since i work and she doesnt that if the baby cries at night she gets up and takes care of her since she doesnt have to do anything the next day.
HERES THE SITUATION
Were getting ready to leave and buy diapers and baby food which i will be paying for and for no reason she tells me. "if the baby cries tonight you get her" Not that i have a problem with that but i mean is that fair. She has nothing to do tomorrow. She just feels i never get up at night. which i do occasionally on the weekends. And during the week its her or her mom. But i mean i work and pay for everything and need the rest. I work in construction and thats pretty tiring.
P.S. My schedule is i work mon through friday. I have school on monday and wednesday nights until like 10:00. Other days i get off work come home and spend time with my daughter and then play games or get on the pc. She seems so serious over it like im doing nothing when i am. I personally think if she had a job we would be in a much better situation. Though she nagged me about it i dont bother her much about it. And she curses at me when i bring up the fact she doesnt help pay for anything or doesnt have a job, Or doesnt have anything to do tommorow... please i need opinions
Since my daughter was bored she has had leg growth problems....at night my daughter came to me and said mom im getting teased at school for my height they call me midget and dwarf....would my daughter be considered a midget or dwarf she is 4feet and 3inches and she is 12 years old..please help
i am 23 weeks pregnant, he wants nothing to do with baby. He told me if i had an abortion he would leave wife and make family with me. i could not abort so he left me. i believed i could not get pregnant and that he was with his wife to help her get papers and because they had a daughter (she is 4). should i tell his wife? i wanted to tell his mom maybe she might want to see the baby. i do not know what to do.....i feel awful for my son i can not believe he is really abandoning him. he told me a child needs to be with father that is why he was still with her. i can not believe their happiness is worth more.
So, me and my girlfriend are 15. We had been dating for about 3 months (I know it was too early) And her mom found out we had sex. Her brother told her mom. And her mom freaked out at first and said she could never talk to me again. And when she says stuff like that it's final, because she lives about 100 miles away so if her mom says that there is no way around it. And so now she is allowed to talk to me and she is also allowed to date me, but not allowed to see me. So I don't know what to do. I want to be able to re-establish trust between us. But I don't know how. I already called and apologized for what happened, and told her I respect her, and her daughter and am sorry for what happened. I just want her to be able to trust me again, and for me to be able to show her I am truly sorry about what happen and for her to know I love her daughter and just want the best for her.
Additional Details: I was staying a few nights at there house, and my girlfriend and I decided it was a good idea for me to sneak upstairs to hang out and what-not. And things go escalated and we had sex. And that happened more than once. But we only used protection one of the times. She isn't pregnant, but I don't know what to do now. I just want to be able to see her and be with her. Any advise anyone?
A few days ago I was being a mom and doing laundry, went in to my 12 year old room that she shares with her four year old sister and her nine year old sister. As I was looking for laundry I came a cross broken pencils sharpeners missing the balds in them and also then came across a note book with pictures that made me think that she is cutting her self. Remember after Natalie died? Every year around Christmas, she would visit her son Timmy (who was still grieving for her) as a "Christmas Angel", and cause some kind of miracle to happen.
I think the first couple of Christmases she came in the form of a woman, but the third Christmas a Santa Clause performed the miracle, and Timmy automatically knew that it was a message from his mom.
I really looked forward to the following Christmas miracle; but it never happened. It's like they just faded from existence.
I think Pine Valley is really due for another Christmas miracle. Maybe in the form of Dixie visiting JR? Her message of hope could be that he's gonna beat the cancer and live a long and happy life. My nightmare began at a house witha bunch of people and my daughter was outside when someone walked by and shot a gun. My daughter who is 9 now but seemed to be around age 4in my dream was shot in the upper chest/lower throat. we called 911 and a firetruck arrived, but the ambulance didn't come. I was frantic as were my mom and dad, a fireman grabbed my daughter who was holding her head down, breathing, but not moving - we got ina car and the man drove us to his house and said the hospitals were full - at that moment i realized i needed to call her father (we are divorced) and he wouldn't believe me she was shot. i then ran to her and she was lifeless, but awake and i was frantic about getting her help - then i woke up in tears. does anyone have any idea of what could have caused this dream?

She was doing everyone's hair (she colors hair for a living)
Her daughter who is about 1 1/2 was extremely contagious....and nobody knew about it.
So that was Saturday.
Today, the baby, the mom, the son, and this man that was over there were all confirmed swine flu.
I was playing with and holding the baby for quite some time.
I feel a little sick, but it might be my body playing a trick on me since mom just told me....but yeah.

My daughter, who's hasn't received her unemployment in months. Her employer let her go because of her credit history. However, the employer stated, " I let her go because she came to me and stated she was quitting because she found another job." My daughter filed an appeal to the TWC deputing that she didn't quit her job. First, the employer said, "Your sister called in for you saying you were in the hospital." That was the first lie. My youngest daughter is in the Army, has been in the Army since February 3, 2009. She went to South Carolina for her basic, from February 3, 2009 until April 17, 2009. At the time when my youngest left for (basic) Army, she nor I knew where my oldest daughter and my grand-kids where abouts were. My oldest daughter, left the city where she resided with my youngest daughter and me (I'm her mom). We hadn't heard from my oldest for about two years. The employer stated, "My Human Resource Support Representative called back the telephone number that was supposely left by my youngest daughter." My daughtest provided a signed letter, and copies showing that her sister, who is currently serving Our country, didn't call in for her. While in basic, for you to make any calls was a privelged. Secondly, the HR representative for the Director of Human Resources, reported that my oldest daughter call in to say she wasn't coming into work. This all took place after April 10, 2009. Now April 10, 2009, is very important date, because this is when the Director of Human Resources said, "I'm going to have to let you go because of your credit history". Althought, the Director of Human Resources denied saying this to my oldest daughter. By, the first Appeal Hearing from TWC ( Over the phone, swearing in, under oath to tell the truth), the questions that was asked from the Appeal Officier, "Oldest daughter can you prove to me that you were indeed fired because of your credit history?" Appeal Officer said, "Can you provide a document wth the Company name, that says, this employer did indeed check your credit? My oldest daughter replied, yes. I received an Employee Handbook that reference, checking my credit history. But, the Director of Human Resources, stated, "That's not true." So, here they are at the third Appeal Hearing over the phone again, and sure enough, my oldest daughter privided, The Pre-Employment Inquiry Release, where she signed and date on April 6, 2009 during the orientation class. And most importantly, the Director of Human Resources sent a packet to the Appeal Officer, my oldest daughter, and her Lawyer, copies of the Employees Handbook, the Pre-Employment Inquiry Release form, to include her application, and e-mails that were dated after April 10, 2009. These e-mails, range from April 14-19, 2009. Well after April 10, 2009. My oldest daughter provided, witnesses, and the Director of Human Resources provided everything else. In conclusions, witnesses, signed letter and attached Army documentation from her youngest sister, and the packet sented by the Director of Human Resources showing that they do indeed check your check. And, the Director of Human Resources sent a letter that was included in the packet saying, Final Worked Day, was April 10, 2009. The Director of Human Resources signed and dated this document. At the first Appeal Hearing, the Appeal Officer asked several questions to the Director of Human Resources, and most all questions were answer, I don't know, or I'm not sure. Their were questions directed at the Human Resource Support Representative, and she couldn't answer most of the questions. So, how can anyone in their right sane mind, make a decison, that the employer was right. Right about what, lies. As, I believe this was an unconscious biases decision by the Appeal Officer.
I'm 13, and a lot of girls in my school are hanging out at the mall now. Their parents usually just drop them off and come pick them up later. My friends go to the mall sometimes but my mom refuses to let me go with them because she says that a lot of girls my age can get abducted. She will only let me go if one of my friend's parents go with us, but they usually don't. One time my mom did let me go because my friend's parents were going to come with us. But once we got there her parents went off by themselves and let us roam around by ourselves. My friend has a cell phone so we can call if anything goes wrong. But we were just fine walking around by ourselves. I kind of feel like I disobeyed my mom (but I guess not completely since technically the parents were in the mall, they just weren't with us), but would it really make sense for her parents to constantly follow us around everywhere? I know there's a lot of scary people out there and my mom is just trying to protect me, but do you think she's being a little overprotective? I mean, I wouldn't really expect any of those people to be hanging out at a mall where there are tons of people and even security guards.
So what do you think? Is my mom right, or is she being too overprotective? And also, if you think it's too dangerous to just get dropped off at the mall, is it any better to still walk around alone but at least have the parents in the mall?
Here are some symptoms that I have. very dizzy, I dont have a thermometer but I feel like im burning up, legs feel achy, runny nose, back kinda achy, tired , small cough.. thats it.
DETAILS... I went to Kalahari (BIG INDOOR WATER PARK) from last Saturday to Sunday.. and i went with my dad step mom and her daughter..... my brother,his wife and 1 yr old live at my parents house but my sister-in-law is LAZYshe doesn't contribute to chores around the house.my mom cooks and cleans..all she does is wash their clothes and she will cook for her daughter but she never washes the dishes she used.it's been going on about 2 yrs..if my mom was healthy it would be a bit better but she's had breast cancer and had part of her muscles removed so she can't tire herself out..i've talk to my bro and his excuse is her dad did everything for her and its taking her time to learn how to do things..am i wrong about her laziness?or should i put an end to it and just talk to her??

so her dad left her mom when she was really young and she feels that he desn't care for her. She really wants to get to know him, or for him to at least make contact. She really misses him and at parties where there is a father-daughter dance, she'll go to the bathroom and cry.
I really want to help her, so I came up with an idea.
one of my other friends mom's actually works with my friend's dad (she is a nurse, he a docter) so I was thinking she could deliver a note to him from my friend and then make him read it in front of her. Then, he might try to get back in touch with her because it's the right thing to do.

I work at an animal hospital and there is this 10 yr old dog that has an owner whom can't take care of her anymore. I got my mom to say yes to watch the dog for a week while the owners daughter is going to CA for one week. ( i have a one year old lab mix and a 7 month old kitten) and we used to have a dog that looks just like this dog i'm going to watch and she died when she was 3. please help me find a way to have my mom let us keep this dog for her remaining years.

My head's beginning to hurt.
My husband and I have been on a few cruises in the last couple years and love them. Recently, we found out about a cruise leaving in a year that's affordable and we want to go. Here's the issue: He has a 10 year old son from a previous relationship and we have a 6 year old daughter together. My husband and I would love to take our daughter along on the cruise b/c she's a great traveler, would be fun to have along, etc. My stepson is sullen and difficult and taking him outside the country would be a huge battle with his mom.
Is there ANY way that this would ever work without scarring him for life? My husband says it's our life and to do what we want (bring our daughter) and that his son gets different experiences with his mom so we shouldn't make decisions about our daughter based on him. I say that there's no way to do this without hurting my stepson.
Opinions?
P.S. My in-laws (hubby's parents) would be irrate if we did this to my stepson - and hubby says, again, it's our life.
To clarify, we do have another child together, who is 3 and she won't be going, only the 6 year old. Someone commented that I seem to be leaning towards taking her despite the controversy and I think "Charm" summed up our feelings a little. My stepson went to California for a week with his mom, my daughter obviously didn't go and that was no issue, right? It's just from our side since our children share a dad that we can't just up and take our daughter on vacation with us without him so is she going to miss out on opportunities?
I just gave birth to my daughter 9 days ago. I have only lost a bit of weight(I am usually pretty skinny)I have some zits popping up...due to the hormone changes...I am breast feeding so I feel my partner sees my breasts more than he ever has...in a completely different light then he has...I can only wear sweat pants and baggy shirts right now with no bra...as a bra causes my breasts to feel horrendous...He is back to work now with a ton of women in his office area who I am sure dress all wonderful to work.
When we met, I was 113 lbs, attractive, bubbly and wonderful. I am so afraid now that I am chunky and kind of going through some baby blues that he will no longer find me attractive.
I just need to know that someone else has felt this and how they got through it....please tell me your personal stories and offer suggestions as to make it easier for me to deal with.
I know its kind of shallow...but in reality, looks are what first attracts you to a person.

Okay this is going to be a little long. My brother has a girlfriend and has a baby with her, they have been together for about a year and a half. Every since they got together they have been staying with my parents. May i add, rent free! free babysitting (my mom)! all that included!
Right now my brother is in jail and she continues living at my parents house(rent free) with her girls (she has a daughter from a previous relationship). She works, goes home and stops at the gym with my mom, i know cause i'm there every day too and i see her all the time, and then she goes home after that but weekends she spends the night with her aunt.
So to get to my point. I was on facebook yesterday and happened to notice that i had a messege in my inbox so i just thought let me get it out of the way, maybe i forgot to delete an old messege or something but no it was actually some girl i do not know asking me how i knew my brothers girlfriend Britney because she was suspicious about her(britney) cheating on her good friend Miguel..and i was like "what"!! like it just hit me , i don't really talk to anyone, all i really get on facebook for is to play farmville..lol, so i didn't know how this chick found me and how she knew that i know britney..but everything she told me made sense..
When i confronted britney she denied everything and swore up and down she isn't doing my brother wrong but then again this girl knows a lot about britney although they don't know eachother..why would she want drama in her life, by saying all of this if it wasn't true? Britney seemed pretty calm saying she wasn't going to "sweat it" because it isn't true but how do u know a person is lying? when they get defensive or when they are too calm? I don't know what to believe.

My 10 year old Granddaughter lived in a different state than me. When i was there for a visit last year her mom ask me if i would take her home with me because her husband had been sexually abusing her. This is my son's daughter who was killed in a car accident before she was born. So of course i said yes. I could not get her in school because her mom would not give me a guardianship paper. Finally 2 month's later, on her birthday her mom decides to come for a visit. She gave me power of attorney for 6 month's it expired in oct 08 i can not get her to update it or give me permanent guardianship papers she keeps saying she will, or she mailed them, but i have yet to receive them. I am taking care of this child who i hardly knew a year ago. She has a lot of mental issues because of the abuse. I have science found out that her mom was involved in the abuse. This has caused problems in my marriage and with my other granddaughter who is 4 years old and with my 2 older daughters, but because of my son who is deceased i stand by her, take up for her, do all i can for her. No one wants to help me. I struggle every month financially Just feeding her. I have got to know her a lot better. I love her and will do what ever it takes to keep her. I can not afford a lawyer, what can i do?

I was in Thailand last year and I visited a shelter where they help women who are caught in the sex trade. I was so touched by their horror stories that I decided to adopted a child that was born as a result of one of the prostitutes being raped. Last month I was finally able to pick up my daughter, I had to go through 1 year of hell and grief just to be able to adopt. Okay!.....here it goes.....we both male are have been the best of friends for nearly 19 years. how ever I think hes gay or at least in the closet.....I am gay and out. I have worn glasses for a few years now. I wore contacts when I was in high school, but now being a mom of 2, glasses just seem easier. The pair of glasses I wear now I've had for about 2 years, they are plastic frames. The other day, the plastic just snapped around one of my lenses. I called the place I got them from (Eyemasters) and they told me that I could come in and they could replace the frames, but my warranty had expired and they were $59.99. Well, I went in today and the girl already had the frames set aside since I called and she said give me about 5 minutes and I'll have them done. Sure enough, 5 minutes later she said your all done...well, I was standing there with my wallet and I said, "wait, I'm done, that's it?" And she said "yes, you are good to go." I had my daughter with me and a friend with her daughter and we left. I stood there outside for a minute thinking maybe she was going to say oh wait, you need to pay for those, but she didn't. Was I wrong?? Should I call them and make sure I wasn't supposed to pay? I feel like I stole these glasses, although my friend said maybe they misread that my warranty had expired, she said a lot of frames have a lifetime warranty...what would you do??

so last night i had a dream where i was at a family members house, and this family member has 3 young kids. a lot happened in my dream, but there was one part where the middle child came up to me (oh, and in my dream i knew that it was them but it looked like completely different children) but she came up to me and whispered, "can I show you something?? please can i show you! but you have to promise me that you won't tell mom! you have to promise" so I said, "okay show me." she then lifted up her shirt and showed me her back and said "look what i did!!! i fell" and down her back were these three INSANELY deep scratches. they weren't bleeding but they were vast and open and when i got closer i could see inside of her but there was some blood, some little chunks of muscle, and then the rest was completely hollow, like i was looking into an empty jar. so i gasped and starting crying and asked her if it hurt at all. and she said no. and then I told her that she absolutely had to tell her mom, and she asked why. i told her she had to tell her so she could get help and close the wounds bc otherwise they would get infected. she looked very happy and said "okay!! i'll tell mommy." she ran off and then some time passed and eventually i saw her mom. i asked her if she talked to her daughter and she said no. i told her "you have to talk to her!!!! you have to talk. hold on let me go get her." i tried telling her what was wrong but i couldnt get it out. so i spent the rest of the dream looking for the girl but couldn't find her anywhere!!!!

He called on Monday & spilled everything to me; people were talking badly about him on a local website, he found out last Friday that he apparently had a heart attack or a stroke last month (he is only 31), he began seeing a therapist & was placed on meds for schizophrenia earlier this year, he's going crazy not being able to see his ex's daughter whom he thinks of as his own, just to spite him the b**** mom hasnt let him spend time with or even talk to the little girl for 2 months, so he is extremely upset about that..there is even more but I'm not going to go further. I could barely understand a word he said since he was crying so hard! I have known him over 12 years and have never seen him like this. He has always been the type that holds everything in, so instead of interrupting him to put in my 2 cents, I let him talk & get it all out. I now wish I had offered some encouraging words, I emailed to say he can call me anytime & to keep his head up but he didnt respond, I became worried & sent another with a notification & seen that he didnt bother opening it, I'm thinking hes probably embarassed that he let me hear him cry.Or did I let him down?? Should I call him or leave him alone, I'm very scared at the thought of him being alone though, I feel a need to reach out to him but I dont want to bother him... I've thought of driving up to surprise him with a visit but then I think heck he ignored your email do you think he wants to see you in person. Then I keep thinking of this quote that says "Some people put up walls not to keep others out but to see who cares enough to tears them down". I feel so helpless, what do I do???

Okay so since i was little me and my mom have always been best friends. i mean we have done everything together. Most the time i hangout with her and ditch my friendds! Im 15 now. I have so much fun and love to be around my mom, it makes me happier than anything. We are more like sisters than mother and daughter. But lately, every time we seem to be together we argue and no matter how hard we both try to stop, it just turns into another fight. I've sat down and had a heart to heart about it, and we both agreed to change are ways , but so far it hasn't worked. For example, last night we got in a fight because we were watching a video on yuotube and she was like oh well this girl thinks shes good, and i was like mom chill its a video. Somehow those two sentences started a whole fight and it blew up into not talking for the rest of the night. Then i woke up today and we were fine. aFTER SCHOOL, FINE. Tonight we were fine until i was doing my hair and she was like don't put hair spray in it, it will make it dry. Then i was like ugghh. Cause somehow she persuades me into not doing this every time i do my hair, and i want to! It just gets frustrating but i know shes just trying to help. Now were not talking and i hate it. And i wwouldnt be upset if they were just normal fights that every teenage daughter has with their mom, but their not! They blow up and get way out of hand. And i hate it, because i feel like for the last 5 months, i've been losing her. And she just keeps telling me that she wants her nice sweet daughter back. How can we get back to normal, like the way things used to be? Anyone please answer, im desperate. I just dont want to lose her anymore thani already have.

My boyfriend and I have been together for five years April 2010. We have a good relationship and both of us get along well and are liked by the other's family. His family seems to have a lot of issues, and yes, which family doesn't?
Anyway, his little sister, we'll call her Christy, and I have always gotten along well - she's almost like my little sister, and I like her a lot and look out for her. However, she recently got pregnant - at the age of 16. I'm open-minded and realize this isn't the end of the world, but it is certainly a distressing situation for anyone to go through. Granted, it's not my life and not my family, but being as close as I am to his family I feel effected by the situation. The main issues for me is that my boyfriend's mom is handling the whole thing terribly in my opinion. Not only did his sister get pregnant by a 24 year-old drifter (hey - he can do what he wants as well) but their mom is letting her move in with the guy, and wasn't the least bit upset when Christy told her the news. Also of note is the fact that his mom is an alcoholic and will date men long enough solely to be able to move her (and Christy) into their homes and have them pay for everything, continually drinking the entire time. She is not a good role model at all, and while I am all for her supporting her daughter in this trying time, I refuse to be supportive of how this situation is being handled.
Basically I'm torn - I love his mother and sister, but this situation is very bothersome to me and I'd rather not see either of them. I don't want to upset or anger anyone, or make them feel judged. I've been keeping my mouth shut, but their mom keeps asking why I don't come over to visit when my boyfriend does, and I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by saying how I feel. Should I just continue to keep mum and avoid the situation?

I was sleeping on my bed, i have problem of urine frequency because of my family and a little dibetic too and i am over weight because im not allowd to workout so i spend all my time on my computer.
i went to pee 4-5 times that morning, my elder sister suraiya was sleeping below near my bed.
so when i got up my feet touched her slightly everytime, and my family hates wen someones feet touch them because they are cleanest in the whole world.
she started shouting and called mother all people started shouting and cursing me.
i got hyper and shoued back, now mom came to hit me i hit back( i feel regrate about it ), my always bad sister suraiya called someone on the phone and started crying. i snached her cell and trew it very hard and broke it. she made excuse that she is leaving house right now. she went out and came back with a fat man whos name was salman and was her friend, he looked at me with anger in his eyes and came to me held my hand twisted it and put my head on the bed and just twisted my hand.
now famyli is meant to be support, help, and love.
i was seeing enemies at that time i was helpless and crying that its impossible to make someone beat your own son and brother.
i was shocked i can never forget that morning. the memories are still fresh in my mind.
and my family is getting cruel day by day.

My sister has been using my phone..and she texted a friend of hers and was telling her that she had texted her saying how school was getting bad and that she feels like she wants to die because everything is supposably being taken away from her. shes been going to alternative school (punishment for not paying attention in classs or being disrespectful) shes 15 years old..idk what to do. idk if i should show my mother the text or not. my mom is already going through a lot so i dont want to tell her that her own daughter is having suicidal thoughts.. any advice? please? :(

My neighbor is a boy and 8 which is the same age as my daughter. He calls her fat, and punched her on the bus. i have caught him throwing things at my daughter and i told her she needs to defend herself, but my daughter is a lover not a fighter, and just cries when he does this. i have talked to the parents numerous times and got kinda rude a couple of times, but they make excuses for their child and most of the time find a reason to blame mine. the principal suspended my son off the bus for getting up and walking around and they did nothing to this boy for punching my daughter. my son was going to cubscouts and because of this same boy (his mom is the leader) he quit. he said the boy wouldnt physically leave him alone and when he told the boys mom, she did nothing. what should i do? i have went to the transportation dept, the principal, the parents numerous times but it doesnt do any good because noone does nothing about this child. i am fed up with my children feeling unsafe and harassed. i have taken my children off the pass and started taking them, but 2 days out of the week they have to ride the bus because i am in class late. the boys parents are good friends with the police so i dont think calling them would help- as we are new to the area. any advice would be great.

I am on my second pediatrician for my daughter in 16 months - we left the first because every time we went she was sure my daughter had some new rare disease, but also because she seemed very against breastfeeding when my daughter was an infant and I figured it would only get worse from there.
Now, My daughter is still nursing at 16 months. She was born at 9lbs 4 oz, and lost 1 lb before leaving the hospital. She still nurses about 8 times a day now, and has only gotten up to 20.5 lbs. Her father is very tall and super skinny so the doctor thinks it's genetics but has still recommended that I cut down to no more than 3 nursings a day because she says my milk is "low fat" and not as calorie dense as solid foods at 16 months. I know there are a lot of moms who know a lot more about breastfeeding than I do on here so I was curious to see your thoughts on this. Should I cut down the nursings? I have tried but it has made my daughter very very irritable and she's just drinking more whole cow's milk, not eating more food. Any thoughts?
Just to clarify, my daughter does eat solid foods - she eats 3 meals and 2 snacks a day, plus 10 oz of whole milk which is far more than any other toddler I have seen. She started in the 95th percentile for weight and height and now she is 87th percentile for height and 13th percentile for weight. Her father is 6'4" and when he graduated high school weighed 120lbs. Now, at 42, he is barely 150.

Ok here's the deal. I'm 19, turning 20 in May, a senior in college expecting to graduate in Spring of 2011 (5 years in college total). I work as a math tutor at a community college and I still live with my parents. And I'm an only child.
My parents pay for my $250 car payments, $100 car insurance, phone bill, and I don't pay any rent. I pay is for prescriptions, doctor's appts, internet for my phone, hair appts, and anything else that I need or want besides the household groceries. And I love my parents, we get along great.
But here's the thing, my older cousin laid up and had 2 children, 2 and 4 years old, that she won't take care of. So my mom took custody of the 2 year old girl and her mom took the boy. My mom has basically been taking care of the girl since she was about a month old. It was fine when we were living with relatives in a four bedroom and there were plenty of people to help. But now my dad is retired from the Navy and it's just the three of us taking care of a bratty, attention-lavished 2 year old. Sometimes we have to take care of the mentally delayed 4 year old as well.
She has to sleep in my room, even though we have an extra bedroom, and every day after going to school or working until 7pm I have to come home and help with her somehow, or else I'm not doing my share to live in the house. I don't get any sleep because she wakes up crying almost every night. Every weekend, I have a hard time getting my homework done, and I have basically NO time to do anything fun that I want to do unless the girls mom isn't at work or the club and is will to babysit her daughter, and it's starting to cause a big strain in my boyfriend's and my relationship (who I'm planning on marrying) because we have no time together unless he goes to school with me. And my grades are suffering because I have no time to study and I'm always so tired from lack of sleep and stress.
Am I being ungrateful to want to move asap? Should I just suck it up for the next year and a half so they can pay for everything until I graduate? Don't get me wrong I love my little 2 year old cousin but it's becoming too much for me to deal with. Sorry for the long post btw...

Lately the same neighbor has been calling and asking for various favors.....
i was at college all day, and i had went to wal mart and picked up my daughter from school, just got home to unwind and make dinner, do some dishes and laundry and get ready for homework (im a single mom) so my life is pretty busy.
She calls and asks for a favor...I told her sure, what is it?......but after she said she needed her item from rite aid which was on the other side of town i asked her if there was any place closer bc at the time i dont have much gas. and she said no thats ok ill call someone esle...but she says it in a tone like im supossed to feel guilty for not saying yes to everything she needs.
Now i do feel guilty for not helping someone. I feel like God is dissapointed too.... as silly as that sounds its true.
So what I am asking is this:
should a christian sacrifice "anything" to help someone esle....."no matter what they need?" even if its interfering with my life as a single mom...?im busy too
not only that but i realized that when i start helping ppl they keep asking for more and more...i know that sounds bad on my part but lol where do u draw the line
My daughter is almost 5 months old and did everything very early from rolling over(1.5 months front to back and back to front on a hard surface) to sitting up (4 months!) and so on. She is a tummy sleeper but will not play on her tummy. She loves to 'army crawl' short distances but wont stay on her tummy for more than a minute. My doctor said not to worry but didn't explain much. Id like to know what other moms have experienced, especially if your baby was a tummy sleeper too.
me and my boyfriend have been together over a year and we live togther with his two kids. his daughter is 9 years old and his son is 5. his son and i have grown VERY close. at first his daughter loved me and i began to do morethings with her that her own mother never really does, everything was great(we neve say ANYTHING bad about her mother because we dont want them to hate her) out of know where she started to tell me that she hates me and that i'm not her mom! i never tried to be her mom and i have told her that. that i am only here for when she needs me. also i am the first girl that she has ever seen with her father but her mother is one of those ladies that cant keep their legs shut and introduces every guy to them :-( but we pretend everything is okay. i do what i can for these kids. why the hostility towards me??
Okay, I just think its messed up but maybe im wrong. So heres the deal. When my baby was born i got a job within 2 weeks. My gf was of course unemployed. Well for the whole year before she gave birth she was unemployed, but emplyed before that. Now its been 5 months since we had our lovely daughter. She still doesnt have a job so anything her benefits (WIC) dont cover i buy like diapers, gerber baby food, wipes, and basically anything. well the deal has been since i work and she doesnt that if the baby cries at night she gets up and takes care of her since she doesnt have to do anything the next day.
HERES THE SITUATION
Were getting ready to leave and buy diapers and baby food which i will be paying for and for no reason she tells me. "if the baby cries tonight you get her" Not that i have a problem with that but i mean is that fair. She has nothing to do tomorrow. She just feels i never get up at night. which i do occasionally on the weekends. And during the week its her or her mom. But i mean i work and pay for everything and need the rest. I work in construction and thats pretty tiring.
P.S. My schedule is i work mon through friday. I have school on monday and wednesday nights until like 10:00. Other days i get off work come home and spend time with my daughter and then play games or get on the pc. She seems so serious over it like im doing nothing when i am. I personally think if she had a job we would be in a much better situation. Though she nagged me about it i dont bother her much about it. And she curses at me when i bring up the fact she doesnt help pay for anything or doesnt have a job, Or doesnt have anything to do tommorow... please i need opinions
Since my daughter was bored she has had leg growth problems....at night my daughter came to me and said mom im getting teased at school for my height they call me midget and dwarf....would my daughter be considered a midget or dwarf she is 4feet and 3inches and she is 12 years old..please help
i am 23 weeks pregnant, he wants nothing to do with baby. He told me if i had an abortion he would leave wife and make family with me. i could not abort so he left me. i believed i could not get pregnant and that he was with his wife to help her get papers and because they had a daughter (she is 4). should i tell his wife? i wanted to tell his mom maybe she might want to see the baby. i do not know what to do.....i feel awful for my son i can not believe he is really abandoning him. he told me a child needs to be with father that is why he was still with her. i can not believe their happiness is worth more.
So, me and my girlfriend are 15. We had been dating for about 3 months (I know it was too early) And her mom found out we had sex. Her brother told her mom. And her mom freaked out at first and said she could never talk to me again. And when she says stuff like that it's final, because she lives about 100 miles away so if her mom says that there is no way around it. And so now she is allowed to talk to me and she is also allowed to date me, but not allowed to see me. So I don't know what to do. I want to be able to re-establish trust between us. But I don't know how. I already called and apologized for what happened, and told her I respect her, and her daughter and am sorry for what happened. I just want her to be able to trust me again, and for me to be able to show her I am truly sorry about what happen and for her to know I love her daughter and just want the best for her.
Additional Details: I was staying a few nights at there house, and my girlfriend and I decided it was a good idea for me to sneak upstairs to hang out and what-not. And things go escalated and we had sex. And that happened more than once. But we only used protection one of the times. She isn't pregnant, but I don't know what to do now. I just want to be able to see her and be with her. Any advise anyone?
A few days ago I was being a mom and doing laundry, went in to my 12 year old room that she shares with her four year old sister and her nine year old sister. As I was looking for laundry I came a cross broken pencils sharpeners missing the balds in them and also then came across a note book with pictures that made me think that she is cutting her self. Remember after Natalie died? Every year around Christmas, she would visit her son Timmy (who was still grieving for her) as a "Christmas Angel", and cause some kind of miracle to happen.
I think the first couple of Christmases she came in the form of a woman, but the third Christmas a Santa Clause performed the miracle, and Timmy automatically knew that it was a message from his mom.
I really looked forward to the following Christmas miracle; but it never happened. It's like they just faded from existence.
I think Pine Valley is really due for another Christmas miracle. Maybe in the form of Dixie visiting JR? Her message of hope could be that he's gonna beat the cancer and live a long and happy life. My nightmare began at a house witha bunch of people and my daughter was outside when someone walked by and shot a gun. My daughter who is 9 now but seemed to be around age 4in my dream was shot in the upper chest/lower throat. we called 911 and a firetruck arrived, but the ambulance didn't come. I was frantic as were my mom and dad, a fireman grabbed my daughter who was holding her head down, breathing, but not moving - we got ina car and the man drove us to his house and said the hospitals were full - at that moment i realized i needed to call her father (we are divorced) and he wouldn't believe me she was shot. i then ran to her and she was lifeless, but awake and i was frantic about getting her help - then i woke up in tears. does anyone have any idea of what could have caused this dream?
Well, I was at this woman's house, and she had some friends over.
She was doing everyone's hair (she colors hair for a living)
Her daughter who is about 1 1/2 was extremely contagious....and nobody knew about it.
So that was Saturday.
Today, the baby, the mom, the son, and this man that was over there were all confirmed swine flu.
I was playing with and holding the baby for quite some time.
I feel a little sick, but it might be my body playing a trick on me since mom just told me....but yeah.
I haven't had any shots.

My daughter, who's hasn't received her unemployment in months. Her employer let her go because of her credit history. However, the employer stated, " I let her go because she came to me and stated she was quitting because she found another job." My daughter filed an appeal to the TWC deputing that she didn't quit her job. First, the employer said, "Your sister called in for you saying you were in the hospital." That was the first lie. My youngest daughter is in the Army, has been in the Army since February 3, 2009. She went to South Carolina for her basic, from February 3, 2009 until April 17, 2009. At the time when my youngest left for (basic) Army, she nor I knew where my oldest daughter and my grand-kids where abouts were. My oldest daughter, left the city where she resided with my youngest daughter and me (I'm her mom). We hadn't heard from my oldest for about two years. The employer stated, "My Human Resource Support Representative called back the telephone number that was supposely left by my youngest daughter." My daughtest provided a signed letter, and copies showing that her sister, who is currently serving Our country, didn't call in for her. While in basic, for you to make any calls was a privelged. Secondly, the HR representative for the Director of Human Resources, reported that my oldest daughter call in to say she wasn't coming into work. This all took place after April 10, 2009. Now April 10, 2009, is very important date, because this is when the Director of Human Resources said, "I'm going to have to let you go because of your credit history". Althought, the Director of Human Resources denied saying this to my oldest daughter. By, the first Appeal Hearing from TWC ( Over the phone, swearing in, under oath to tell the truth), the questions that was asked from the Appeal Officier, "Oldest daughter can you prove to me that you were indeed fired because of your credit history?" Appeal Officer said, "Can you provide a document wth the Company name, that says, this employer did indeed check your credit? My oldest daughter replied, yes. I received an Employee Handbook that reference, checking my credit history. But, the Director of Human Resources, stated, "That's not true." So, here they are at the third Appeal Hearing over the phone again, and sure enough, my oldest daughter privided, The Pre-Employment Inquiry Release, where she signed and date on April 6, 2009 during the orientation class. And most importantly, the Director of Human Resources sent a packet to the Appeal Officer, my oldest daughter, and her Lawyer, copies of the Employees Handbook, the Pre-Employment Inquiry Release form, to include her application, and e-mails that were dated after April 10, 2009. These e-mails, range from April 14-19, 2009. Well after April 10, 2009. My oldest daughter provided, witnesses, and the Director of Human Resources provided everything else. In conclusions, witnesses, signed letter and attached Army documentation from her youngest sister, and the packet sented by the Director of Human Resources showing that they do indeed check your check. And, the Director of Human Resources sent a letter that was included in the packet saying, Final Worked Day, was April 10, 2009. The Director of Human Resources signed and dated this document. At the first Appeal Hearing, the Appeal Officer asked several questions to the Director of Human Resources, and most all questions were answer, I don't know, or I'm not sure. Their were questions directed at the Human Resource Support Representative, and she couldn't answer most of the questions. So, how can anyone in their right sane mind, make a decison, that the employer was right. Right about what, lies. As, I believe this was an unconscious biases decision by the Appeal Officer.
I'm 13, and a lot of girls in my school are hanging out at the mall now. Their parents usually just drop them off and come pick them up later. My friends go to the mall sometimes but my mom refuses to let me go with them because she says that a lot of girls my age can get abducted. She will only let me go if one of my friend's parents go with us, but they usually don't. One time my mom did let me go because my friend's parents were going to come with us. But once we got there her parents went off by themselves and let us roam around by ourselves. My friend has a cell phone so we can call if anything goes wrong. But we were just fine walking around by ourselves. I kind of feel like I disobeyed my mom (but I guess not completely since technically the parents were in the mall, they just weren't with us), but would it really make sense for her parents to constantly follow us around everywhere? I know there's a lot of scary people out there and my mom is just trying to protect me, but do you think she's being a little overprotective? I mean, I wouldn't really expect any of those people to be hanging out at a mall where there are tons of people and even security guards.
So what do you think? Is my mom right, or is she being too overprotective? And also, if you think it's too dangerous to just get dropped off at the mall, is it any better to still walk around alone but at least have the parents in the mall?
Here are some symptoms that I have. very dizzy, I dont have a thermometer but I feel like im burning up, legs feel achy, runny nose, back kinda achy, tired , small cough.. thats it.
DETAILS... I went to Kalahari (BIG INDOOR WATER PARK) from last Saturday to Sunday.. and i went with my dad step mom and her daughter..... Well this will probly give it away but my dad tested positive for swine flu yesterday. And i spent 2 hours with him in a car and I slept in the same bed with him (I had to no other beds =< )

my brother,his wife and 1 yr old live at my parents house but my sister-in-law is LAZYshe doesn't contribute to chores around the house.my mom cooks and cleans..all she does is wash their clothes and she will cook for her daughter but she never washes the dishes she used.it's been going on about 2 yrs..if my mom was healthy it would be a bit better but she's had breast cancer and had part of her muscles removed so she can't tire herself out..i've talk to my bro and his excuse is her dad did everything for her and its taking her time to learn how to do things..am i wrong about her laziness?or should i put an end to it and just talk to her??

so her dad left her mom when she was really young and she feels that he desn't care for her. She really wants to get to know him, or for him to at least make contact. She really misses him and at parties where there is a father-daughter dance, she'll go to the bathroom and cry.
I really want to help her, so I came up with an idea.
one of my other friends mom's actually works with my friend's dad (she is a nurse, he a docter) so I was thinking she could deliver a note to him from my friend and then make him read it in front of her. Then, he might try to get back in touch with her because it's the right thing to do.

I work at an animal hospital and there is this 10 yr old dog that has an owner whom can't take care of her anymore. I got my mom to say yes to watch the dog for a week while the owners daughter is going to CA for one week. ( i have a one year old lab mix and a 7 month old kitten) and we used to have a dog that looks just like this dog i'm going to watch and she died when she was 3. please help me find a way to have my mom let us keep this dog for her remaining years.

My husband and I have been on a few cruises in the last couple years and love them. Recently, we found out about a cruise leaving in a year that's affordable and we want to go. Here's the issue: He has a 10 year old son from a previous relationship and we have a 6 year old daughter together. My husband and I would love to take our daughter along on the cruise b/c she's a great traveler, would be fun to have along, etc. My stepson is sullen and difficult and taking him outside the country would be a huge battle with his mom.
Is there ANY way that this would ever work without scarring him for life? My husband says it's our life and to do what we want (bring our daughter) and that his son gets different experiences with his mom so we shouldn't make decisions about our daughter based on him. I say that there's no way to do this without hurting my stepson.
Opinions?
P.S. My in-laws (hubby's parents) would be irrate if we did this to my stepson - and hubby says, again, it's our life.
To clarify, we do have another child together, who is 3 and she won't be going, only the 6 year old. Someone commented that I seem to be leaning towards taking her despite the controversy and I think "Charm" summed up our feelings a little. My stepson went to California for a week with his mom, my daughter obviously didn't go and that was no issue, right? It's just from our side since our children share a dad that we can't just up and take our daughter on vacation with us without him so is she going to miss out on opportunities?
I just gave birth to my daughter 9 days ago. I have only lost a bit of weight(I am usually pretty skinny)I have some zits popping up...due to the hormone changes...I am breast feeding so I feel my partner sees my breasts more than he ever has...in a completely different light then he has...I can only wear sweat pants and baggy shirts right now with no bra...as a bra causes my breasts to feel horrendous...He is back to work now with a ton of women in his office area who I am sure dress all wonderful to work.
When we met, I was 113 lbs, attractive, bubbly and wonderful. I am so afraid now that I am chunky and kind of going through some baby blues that he will no longer find me attractive.
I just need to know that someone else has felt this and how they got through it....please tell me your personal stories and offer suggestions as to make it easier for me to deal with.
I know its kind of shallow...but in reality, looks are what first attracts you to a person.

Okay this is going to be a little long. My brother has a girlfriend and has a baby with her, they have been together for about a year and a half. Every since they got together they have been staying with my parents. May i add, rent free! free babysitting (my mom)! all that included!
Right now my brother is in jail and she continues living at my parents house(rent free) with her girls (she has a daughter from a previous relationship). She works, goes home and stops at the gym with my mom, i know cause i'm there every day too and i see her all the time, and then she goes home after that but weekends she spends the night with her aunt.
So to get to my point. I was on facebook yesterday and happened to notice that i had a messege in my inbox so i just thought let me get it out of the way, maybe i forgot to delete an old messege or something but no it was actually some girl i do not know asking me how i knew my brothers girlfriend Britney because she was suspicious about her(britney) cheating on her good friend Miguel..and i was like "what"!! like it just hit me , i don't really talk to anyone, all i really get on facebook for is to play farmville..lol, so i didn't know how this chick found me and how she knew that i know britney..but everything she told me made sense..
When i confronted britney she denied everything and swore up and down she isn't doing my brother wrong but then again this girl knows a lot about britney although they don't know eachother..why would she want drama in her life, by saying all of this if it wasn't true? Britney seemed pretty calm saying she wasn't going to "sweat it" because it isn't true but how do u know a person is lying? when they get defensive or when they are too calm? I don't know what to believe.
We also found out Britney paid for a hotel room this past Saturday at a Motel 8, but she claims that it was a gift that her and her aunt(Debbie) split to give to another aunt(kristy) and her husband who are having problems and that was it..but really how much does a room cost at a motel 8 to have to split in 2 ways? i thought it wasn't higher than 80 for one night and that's exactly what she paid.
Wow! i don't know..what would you think? guys from your point of view and girls please help..what to do? i know there are people that have nothing to do with their lives and live to ruin other peoples lives but this girl stands by her word.
